Jamie Fiset
Jamie Fiset is entering his eighth year as the general manager of the Valley West Giants and brings an additional nine years of working experience in minor hockey with him. He has previously been involved with BC Hockey's Program of Excellence, including a stint as the head coach of Team BC at the 2016 WHL Cup.

Fiset was a board member with Langley Minor Hockey Association from 2010-2014. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor's Degree in Education at the University of British Columbia before earning his Master of Arts degree at Royal Roads University. Away from the rink, Fiset is a teacher.
U18 AAA

Drago Adam
Drago Adam steps behind the bench for the U18 AAA Valley West Giants in his second season in the BCEHL. Adam’s coaching career included a 15-year tenure with Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association, where he coached from the U13 to U21 levels, before moving to Burnaby MHA to coach at the U15 level, where he has been for the last two seasons.

Adam’s coaching career included a 15-year tenure with Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association, where he coached from the U13 to U21 levels, before moving to Burnaby MHA to coach at the U15 level, where he has been for the last two seasons.
The Vancouver native suited up in the Western Hockey League for three seasons between 1984 and 1987 with the Lethbridge Broncos and the New Westminster Bruins, before signing a contract with the New York Rangers and playing a season professionally with the Colorado Rangers of the International Hockey League.
U17 AAA

Josh Daley
Joshua Daley enters his second season in the BCEHL as head coach of the U17 Valley West Giants. Daley brings over 20 years of coaching experience with various minor hockey associations across the Lower Mainland, most recently with Semiahmoo MHA as the head coach of the U18 A1 Ravens.

Daley attended Trinity Western University and Simon Fraser University where he obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Arts and Education. Away from hockey, he is a full-time teacher and the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Reach Trauma Performance Counselling.
U15 AAA

Daniel Fong
Daniel Fong joins U15 Valley West Giants as co-head coach for the 2025-26 season, after serving as the team’s assistant coach last season.

Fong has prior coaching experience with Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association (MHA), where he was an assistant coach for the U15 Tier 2 team in 2021-22. He then joined Burnaby MHA, where he served as an assistant coach with the U15 Tier 2 team in 2022-23 and the U15 Tier 1 squad during the 2023-24 season.
A Coquitlam, B.C. native, Fong works full-time at Avant Garde Signs in the Fabrication and Design department.

Matthew Jung
Matthew Jung joins the U15 Valley West Giants as Co-Head Coach for the 2025-26 season, following two seasons as an Assistant Coach with the U18 Giants, which included back-to-back Circle K (formerly Mac’s) Tournament appearances.

A former BCEHL player, Jung skated with the U18 Giants for two seasons and won consecutive Zwick Cups in the Surrey High School Ice Hockey League from 2018–2020 before signing with the Ridge Meadows Flames of the Pacific Junior Hockey League for the 2020-21 season.
He then moved his career to the United States, competing in two National Championships in the United States Premier Hockey League. He first suited up for the Fresno Monsters in 2021-22, before splitting the following season between Team Maryland of the Eastern Hockey League and the Islanders Hockey Club, earning his second Nationals appearance.
After junior hockey, Jung laced up with Simon Fraser University in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League during the 2023-24 season.
Jung is currently a full-time student at Simon Fraser University.
