Jamie Fiset

General Manager

Jamie Fiset is entering his seventh year in the BCEHL as general manager with the Valley West Giants and brings an additional eight years of experience working in minor hockey previously. He has been involved with BC Hockey’s Program of Excellence including as the head coach of Team BC at the 2016 WHL Cup.

He has been involved with BC Hockey’s Program of Excellence including as the head coach of Team BC at the 2016 WHL Cup.  

Fiset was a board member with Langley Minor Hockey Association from 2010-14. Away from the rink Fiset is a teacher, he completed his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education at the University of British Columbia before earning his Master of Arts at Royal Roads University.

U18 AAA

Delroy Montaque

Delroy Montaque

Head Coach

Delroy Montaque assumes the head coaching position for the U18 AAA Valley West Giants after spending last season as the head coach of the U18 AAA Vancouver NW Hawks. Montaque also serves as the Hockey Canada Skills Academy Lead Instructor at Windsor Academy. He has compiled over five years of experience coaching hockey in the province, spending time with the North Shore Avalanche and Burnaby Winter Club, along with his BCEHL experience.  

Delroy Montaque assumes the head coaching position for the U18 AAA Valley West Giants after spending last season as the head coach of the U18 AAA Vancouver NW Hawks. Montaque also serves as the Hockey Canada Skills Academy Lead Instructor at Windsor Academy. Originally from Scarborough, Ontario, Montaque attended Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario, working towards a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Away from the rink, he is a personal caregiver.

Head Coach

Joshua Daley enters his first season in the BCEHL as head coach of the U17 Valley West Giants. Daley brings over 20 years of coaching experience with various minor hockey associations across the Lower Mainland, most recently with Semiahmoo MHA as the head coach of the U18 A1 Ravens.

Joshua Daley enters his first season in the BCEHL as head coach of the U17 Valley West Giants. Daley brings over 20 years of coaching experience with various minor hockey associations across the Lower Mainland, most recently with Semiahmoo MHA as the head coach of the U18 A1 Ravens.

 Daley attended Trinity Western University and Simon Fraser University where he obtained Bachelor’s Degrees in Arts and Education. Away from hockey, he is a full-time teacher and the Director of Strategic Initiatives for Reach Trauma Performance Counselling.

Head Coach

Drago Adam steps behind the bench for the U15 AAA Valley West Giants in his first season in the BCEHL. Adam’s coaching career included a 15-year tenure with Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association, where he coached from the U13 to U21 levels, before moving to Burnaby MHA to coach at the U15 level, where he has been for the last two seasons.

Drago Adam steps behind the bench for the U15 AAA Valley West Giants in his first season in the BCEHL. Adam’s coaching career included a 15-year tenure with Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association, where he coached from the U13 to U21 levels, before moving to Burnaby MHA to coach at the U15 level, where he has been for the last two seasons.

The Vancouver native suited up in the Western Hockey League for three seasons between 1984 and 1987 with the Lethbridge Broncos and the New Westminster Bruins, before signing a contract with the New York Rangers and playing a season professionally with the Colorado Rangers of the International Hockey League.
